This Damn Fly 当蒼蠅与太極碰撞

Shi-Ping Hsu has a B.S. degree in Physics from National Taiwan University, and a Ph.D. In Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology. He then has a distinguished career with Applied Minds, LLC., Northrop Grumman Corporation and its Futures Lab as well as at Paracel Inc.

However, after his retirement, it is a annoying fly that ignited something in him, similar to that fallen apple done to Newton, a new “star” is born.

Synopsis

“As a retiree, I got even less things to do since pandemic. So, when this damn fly came visiting me that day, I wrote a short article about it. I shared it with my Tai Chi teacher, and he suggested I make a video out of it.

I never made a video before, but his comment was inspiring. I pushed the button “iMovie” on my Mac for the first time, and joy started.

Perhaps the silver lining of the pandemic is I discovered a new hobby. I am happy to report to you that I recently purchased Adobe Premiere Pro. I feel I deserve an upgrade.”
